Whether designing fashion jewelry, creating award-winning television costumes, or dressing celebrities for the red carpet, Ryan Ryan has built a career defined by beauty, individuality, and artistic intuition.

Ryan’s journey began unexpectedly, when his younger sister Pamela entered a beauty pageant without the gown or accessories she needed to shine. With limited resources but unlimited creativity, Ryan learned to sew, enlisted a friend’s help, and adorned her dress with 5,000 hand-sewn seed pearls and rhinestones. Pamela won — and Ryan’s lifelong path in fashion design was set.

By 1984, Ryan was stringing beads and crafting jewelry for friends when a regional buyer for the newly opened Nordstrom discovered his work. That meeting turned into orders for more than 40 stores and a 13-year partnership with one of America’s most iconic retailers.

In 1998, Ryan launched the Ryan Ryan Collection at Saks Fifth Avenue, where his refined, gemstone-driven designs reached a national audience. His work caught the eye of Hollywood stylists, adorning stars such as Keira Knightley, Lea Michele, and Katherine Heigl, and later appearing at the Kardashian-owned Dash Boutique.

Ryan’s artistry soon evolved into retail, with a jewelry and gift boutique in Palm Desert’s luxury El Paseo district, followed by a move to Indio — home of the world-famous Coachella Music Festival. The new location has become a hub for his loyal clientele and a creative, beautiful space for his ever-evolving designs.

Next, Ryan will be introducing a limited-edition collection of lab-created diamond jewelry, available exclusively at the Ryan Ryan store.
